• Select a produce and fruit wash product that requires no rinsing.
• Your produce and fruit wash product should be FDA and/or EPA approved for both whole and cut produce and fruit washing.
• Ease and accuracy of dispensing is an important consideration - always make sure your produce and fruit wash product provider can regularly inspect and maintain the dispensing system.
• Find a product that requires only a short wash time – a good rule of thumb is two minutes or less.
• Make sure the product you choose is both safe and non-corrosive at its correct usage levels.
